Tonya Rae (Feltner) Cooper

Tonya Cooper, 54, of Winslow, Indiana, passed away Friday, April 21, 2023, at her home.

She was born in Terre Haute, Indiana on November 13, 1968, to Lana (Gettle) Willis and the late John Feltner.  In addition to her father, she was also preceded in death by grandparents Don & Betty Gettle.

Tonya was a graduate of Pike Central High School.  She loved her work as a Licensed Practical Nurse at the VA Clinic in Evansville, Indiana, and was equally loved and appreciated by her patients and coworkers.

She loved spending time with her grandchildren, crafting, and the many travels with her husband to Upstate New York.  She was a member of Mt. Pisgah General Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 19 years, John Cooper; mother Lana Willis; daughters Rachel Smitson & Haley McKinney; sons Clifton Brock and Christopher & John K. Cooper; sisters Leslie Antley & Shari Vickers; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at O.D. Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, Indiana.  Memorial visitation will be held from 10:00am until service time at the funeral home.
