Timothy J. Kerr

Timothy J. Kerr, 67, passed away Sunday, January 3, 2021 in Venice, Florida from natural causes unrelated to Covid-19, such a blessing that allowed his wife to be with him at his bedside.

Tim was born in May 13, 1953 to John and Bonnie (Quiggins) Kerr in Vincennes, Indiana.  He married Terri Kerr on July 31, 1993. 

In addition to his wife of 27 years, Terri, Tim is also survived by his son Seth (Lina) Kerr, stepson Cole (Gail) Miller, stepdaughter Shay (AJ) Rudnicki, grandchildren Ady, Maisy, Beeja, Ender, & Violet, sister Mary (John) Johnson, 5 nephews and 1 niece.

Although he worked as a geologist for BB Mining, Tim will be remembered much more so as an amazing husband, so full of love for his wife, children, grandchildren, extended family and many dear friends.  He was extremely talented, playing guitar since he was young.  He loved all sports, but truly loved IU basketball, never missing a game.  His other true love was his golden retriever, Barkley.

A private family graveside service will be held at Walnut Hills Cemetery, with a Celebration of Life planned later this spring.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Tim’s memory to the American Lung Association, or any charitable organization that provides help to children or animals.
