Steve Ray English

Steven Ray English, 65, of Winslow, passed away July 1, 2020 in Petersburg. Steve was born May 11, 1955 in Indianapolis, IN to Leland and Carolyn English. Steve attended Winslow High School and graduated in 1973. He was a Boilermaker with Local #374 from 1975-1986. He served as the Winslow Town Marshall from 1986-2019. Steve was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and the Winslow Eagles.

Steve is survived by his wife, Tamela English of Winslow; son, Adam English of Evansville; daughter, Abbey (Joey) Evans of Evansville; step son, Greg (Courtney) Loveless of Petersburg; step daughter, Melody (Joe) Faulk of Petersburg; grandchildren, Trace, Cassidy, Alex, Addison, Dalton, Connor, Laryn, and Maddox; sister, Sandy Delap of New Harmony; and brother, Keith (Cheri) English.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Leland and Carolyn (Fitzgerald) English; son Seth Allen English; brother, Bill English; and sister, Lela Kay Traylor.

A walk through visitation will be held from 10-1 PM EST at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN on Monday, July 6, 2020. Graveside services will be held at 1:30 PM EST following the visitation at Sunset Cemetery in Winslow, IN. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
