Shirley Ann Bell, 62, of Huntingburg, passed away March 20, 2024 in Jasper, IN. She was born March 26, 1961 to Jack Lee and Rae Inez (Webster) Bell in Mountain Home, ID. Shirley worked as a special education teacher for the Southwest Dubois School Corporation for many years. She was a longtime member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles Winslow Lodge 2646. She had many hobbies during her life such as crafting, ghost television shows, HGTV, listening to music, and she had a special love for cats. Above all of that she especially loved working with the children as a special education teacher and being with her family and friends.
Shirley is survived by her daughter, Brittney Bell; grandchildren, Ayden Bell, Brayden St. Clair, and Braylen St. Clair; her father, Jack (Diane) Bell; a brother, Bill Bell; and several nieces and nephews.
Shirley is preceded in death by her son, B.J. Green; her mother, Rae Inez (Webster) Bell; her companion, Dennis Keith; sisters, Nina Mathias, Debbie Bell, and Trina McClain.
A Celebration of Life will take place from 2 to 5 PM EST at the Spurgeon Park Building on Sunday, April 7. The address to the location is 11010 S. St. Rd. 61 Spurgeon, IN 47660. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
