Nancy Kay Hopkins Beloved Mother and Daughter, daughter of James and Helen (Morris) Mulkey has passed away at the age of 77. She was preceded in death by her brother Jimmy (James) Mulkey of Otwell Indiana and survived by her son Tony Taylor. Nancy had a love of animals, and she had a passion for horses at a early age. Nancy has won numerous awards, and she has competed in Barrel Racing events all over the United States. Winning Futurities, an at events going back to 1970. Nancy was a wonderful Mother, and she made friends wherever she went. Nancy was a hardworking, honest woman who had the respect of anyone who competed against her, her love of competing was so strong to go to her first Horse Show in Washington Indiana at the age of 15 she rode her horse “Tom” from the family farm in Otwell the 15 miles there a back. Many knew her has Punkin, she lived the majority of her life in Pike County. Services have not yet been made available at this time. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations please be made to PAWS of Petersburg and can be mailed to PO Box 63 Petersburg, IN 47567.
