Mary Lou Deffendall, 88, of Petersburg, passed away January 29, 2021 in Evansville, IN. She was born June 28, 1932 in Princeton, IN to Elza and Edith (Decker) Walton. She graduated from Mt. Olympus High School in 1950 and worked for the United States Postal Service for 30 years before retiring.

Mary is survived by her sons, Mick Deffendall and Nick (Lynn) Deffendall; grandchildren, Jo (Chris) Livermore, Sara Deffendall, Asa (Megan) Deffendall, Jackson Deffendall, and Jamie (David) Cutsinger; great grandchildren, Ethan, Carsten, Jordan, Delaney, Jake, and Cole; and sister, Betty Willis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Deffendall; son, Rick Deffendall; her parents; and brother, Jim Walton.

Private family services will be held at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
