Martha Sue (Logan) Gray

Martha Sue Gray, 82, of Vincennes, went to Heaven on February 24, 2022.

Martha was born on January 18, 1940, in Petersburg, Indiana. She graduated from Petersburg High School. Throughout her life, Martha worked at the Washington Utility Office, Prestolite in Vincennes, and was the Volunteer Coordinator at Good Samaritan Hospital. In her retirement, she was a hospital volunteer for 17 years. ‘Mammaw Martha’ also enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters and attending their many activities. Martha attended the Ridgecrest Baptist Church where she made lifelong friends.

Martha is survived by her son, Mark Gray and his wife, Lynn, of Vincennes; her sister, Patty Beck, of Petersburg; her granddaughters, Emily Lynn and her husband, Tyler, of Evansville, and Katie Gray of Bloomington; her nephew, Tim Beck, and his wife, Denise, of Winslow; and her niece, Tammy Beck, of Terre Haute.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Kenneth and Goldie Logan; her brother-in-law, Bob Beck; and her great nephew, Tyler Beck.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 1st from 4-7 pm EST at the Harris Funeral Home located at 705 E. Walnut Street in Petersburg, Indiana. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 2nd, at 10 am at Harris Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg, Indiana. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Vincennes, Indiana and may be mailed to 1820 McKinley Ave. Vincennes, IN 47591. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
