Linden Gayle Wilson, 87, of Petersburg, IN passed away August 16, 2023 in Louisville, KY. He was born December 27, 1935 to Victor Thomas and Gladys (Henson) Wilson in Knox County, IN. Linden was a faithful member of the Petersburg 1st Church of God. One of his greatest passions was farming and he proudly worked his family farm for 63 years.
Linden is survived by his wife of 67 years, Kathern Louise (Williams) Wilson; daughters, Terri (Don) Thrasher of Jackson, TN and Lisa Gail Wilson of Petersburg, IN; grandchildren, Sarah (Jonathan) Baker and Stephen Thrasher. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Emil Wilson and John Wilson; and a sister, Rosemary Rumble.
Services for Linden will take place at 1 PM EST on Monday, August 21, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with visitation from 10 AM until service time at the funeral home. Pastor Michael Roach will be officiating and burial will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg, IN. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
