Linda Ropp Obituary

Linda Lou Ropp, 74, of Petersburg, IN, passed away March 22, 2020 at her home with family. She was born September 28, 1945 in Daviess County, IN to William “Bill” and Vonnie Jean Holland. She worked as a beautician for many years and was employed at Walmart from 1992 to 2011. She was a member of the Antioch Christian Church in Washington, IN. Linda loved her Church, loved to watch college basketball and football, the NFL, and NASCAR. She loved her yard and her flowers. She especially loved her special fur baby, Miracle AKA Fuzzy Buzzy. She married her husband, M. Frank Ropp, on July 29, 1967.

Linda is survived by her husband, M. Frank Ropp; daughter, Amy Lynn Ropp; mother, Vonnie Holland; brothers, William Eugene “Butch” Holland and Milton Earl Holland; sister, Patrica Ann Weathers; and several great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, William “Bill” Holland.

Private services have been scheduled for Linda Lou Ropp. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Shriner’s Childrens Hospital, Pike County Library; PAWS, or Walnut Hills Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
