Leah Kay (Hill) Tooley

Leah Kay Tooley, age 64, of Otwell, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at home, surrounded by family.
Leah was born in Gary, Indiana, on June 3, 1958 to Loren and Joann Hill (Stone).
She was a 1976 graduate of Pike Central High School. She went on to receive her Bachelor's Degree in Social Work at University of Evansville and a Masters Degree of Social Work from Louisville University. Leah spent 34 years in the social work field serving others and her community. 
Leah is survived by her husband of 44 years; Benny Tooley., Two children; Adam (Jessica) Tooley of Otwell and Abby (Brad) Gillum of Bedford. Two Grandchildren; Estelyn Violet Tooley and Joanna Kay Gillum, and several nieces and nephews. 
She is preceded in death by her parents; Loren Hill Jr. and Joann Stone and Step-Father Wayne Stone. 
A visitation will take place from 4:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20, 2022, at First United Methodist Church in Petersburg, Indiana. A second visitation will be held from 8:00-11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at First United Methodist Church with a service to follow. Pastor Greg Davis will be officiating and burial will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Pike County Community Foundation and may be mailed to PO Box 587 Petersburg, IN 47567. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
