Obituary
Joyce L. Catt, 80, of Petersburg, passed away on February 22, 2023 in Evansville, IN. She was born on July 2, 1942 to Horace and Oleva (Ferguson) Eads. Joyce attended Winslow High School and graduated in 1960. She married Larry Catt on May 14, 1966.
Joyce was a long-time member of the First Christian Church in Petersburg. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren’s events and planting and taking care of her flower beds. She never met a stranger and could carry on a conversation with anyone. To know her was to love her.
Joyce is survived by her daughter, Angie Brawdy, grandchildren, Olivia and Ethan Brawdy, sister, Velma (David) Southwood and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Larry; parents, brother Bill Eads and sisters Beulah Woolsey and Linda McCrary.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00pm EST on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at O.D. Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, Indiana, with burial to follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00pm EST until service time at the funeral home.
