Janice Sucech Obituary

Janice Eileen Sucech, 93, of Winslow, passed away March 10, 2021 in Evansville, IN. She was born March 24, 1927 in Winslow to Laurentis and Christine (Poehlein) Dorsey. Janice graduated from Winslow High School in the class of 1945. Janice loved to read and had operated the Corner Book Shoppe until it was closed due to Covid in March of 2020. For many years prior to that, she and her husband Mel (Kojak) had owned and operated the Igloo.

Janice is survived by her children, Milan Sucech and wife Linda, Steven Sucech and wife Deborah, and Debra Lamb and husband Dale; seven grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brother and several of her much loved cousins.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
