Donna Jo (Thompson) Gilboy

Donna Jo Gilboy, 74, of Winslow, passed away March 21, 2020 in Evansville, IN. She was born April 29, 1945 in Evansville to Jack and Helen (Payton) Thompson. Donna worked as a Director at Senior and Family Services. Besides her family, her greatest passion was the many years that she volunteered in the Prison Ministry.  Donna loved the Lord with all her heart and glorified Him in all she did.

Donna is survived by her sons, Ron (Jamie) Wilson and Bobby (Andrea) Jeanette; daughter, Cindy (Pete) Shirley; step daughter, Mary Jo (Terry) Workman; grandchildren, Ashley Fuhs, John Wilson, Anashia Sutt, Alyssa Heldt, Lance Shirley, Paige Byrer, Ben Shirley, Alexander Jeanette, Hannah Jeanette, Shawn Workman, and Nathaniel Workman; great grandchildren, Jackson, Mason, Owen and Annistyn Fuhs, Maverick Wilson, Marlee Jo Byrer, Daisy and Madeline, June, Grace, and Terry Workman; siblings, Teresa Williams, Jacquenette Shinkle, and Jimmy Thompson.

She is preceded in death by her husband John Edward Gilboy who passed Dec. 23, 2014; her parents, and brother, Ronnie Thompson.

Due to the Indiana Mandate for COVID-19 there will be only private graveside services for immediate family on March 28, 2020 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Winslow, IN.
