Daniel & Wesena Turner

Daniel D. Turner, 62, of Winslow, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville, Indiana.  Wesena M. Turner, 59, followed him in death on Friday, January 21, 2022, at Jasper Memorial Hospital.

Daniel and Wesena were married on July 28, 1979.

Daniel was born October 19, 1959, in Great Falls, Montana, the son of Paul and Marguerite Turner, both preceding him in death.  He worked as a fitter at 4 Star Fabricators in Petersburg, IN for the last 31 years.  He is survived by sisters Angela Pyatt, Jenny Haase, and Autumn Hansen.

Wesena was born on March 10, 1962, in Wabash, Indiana to John Edward Powell, Sr., who survives her, and Beverly Ann (Despain) Powell, who precedes her in death.  She worked as a homemaker, and is survived by brothers James & John Powell, Jr., and sister Christy Powell Hartley.

Daniel & Wesena are survived together by sons Paul (Rebecca) Turner, William (Sapphire Haas) Turner, and Wayne (Holly) Turner; daughter Shannon Tarter; grandchildren Daniel, Joseph, Samuel, Eleanor, Ethan, Gabriel, Braelyn, Jaxon, Rodney, Sage, and Logan.

Funeral services for the Turners will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 28, 2022, at O.D. Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN, with Pastor Don Bates, Jr. officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery - Reeve Township, near Alfordsville.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
