Thomas Ray Ingersoll, 84, passed away September 4 in Newburgh, IN. He was born August 7, 1934 to Russell and Etta Ingersoll in Pike County. Tom was a Korean War Veteran, serving in the Army as a tank commander. He worked as a truck driver for 22 years and also a bus driver for 20 years.

Tom is survived by his companion, Vera Ingersoll; sister in law, Mary Jane Ingersoll; 5 nephews and 6 nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Russell, James, and Larry Ingersoll; and sisters, Ilia Fowler and Virginia Ingersoll.

Graveside services for Tom will be held at 1:30 PM on Friday, September 7, at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg. The Petersburg VFW will be conducting military honors. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
