Sylvia Lea Rexing, 59, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at her home in Petersburg, Indiana.

She was born March 24, 1961 in St. Wendel, Indiana to Raymond and Ruth (Jamieson) Rexing.  She was their youngest child and only girl.  She attended St. Wendel Grade School and Central High School.  She worked on the family farm, and later moved to Petersburg where she worked at PCARC.

Sylvia is survived by her brother Neal (Radena) Rexing and sister-in-law Dora Rexing Beaton, all of Evansville, IN; nieces and nephews: Dana, Debra, and Denise Rexing, Tammy Rexing, Jeremy (Jamie) Rexing, and Jamie (Anthony) Attebery, all of Evansville, IN; and numerous great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: William (in infancy), Ernie (age 16), her oldest brother Donald (age 29), and her sister-in-law Karen Grossman Rexing (age 46).

Private graveside services will be held at a later date at St. Wendel Catholic Church Cemetery in St. Wendel, Indiana.
