Sharon J. Sanders, 74, of Winslow area in Pike County, passed away on December 15, 1:11 a.m. at Deaconess Gateway in Evansville.

She was born May 15, 1944 to Herman and Edith Swain; 5 brothers, Olive Swain, Lloyd Swain, Ernest Swain, Herbert Swain, and James W. Swain; 2 sisters, Melvina Swain, and Gladys DeJarnett, all preceded her in death.

Sharon has one brother, Albert Swain surviving.

Sharon married Robert Sanders on August 16, 1975.

Sharon was a proud member of Petersburg General Baptist Church for over 40 years.

Funeral services will be at the General Baptist Church on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of services on Wednesday. Rev. Chalmer Burden will be preaching the services. Burial will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg.

Any memorial contributions can be made to Petersburg General Baptist Church Building Fund.
