Sandra Yvonne Harvey, 87, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 17, 2024, surrounded by her loved ones at The Villages at Oak Ridge in Washington, Indiana.

She was born on October 9, 1937, to Lawrence and Velva Rhodes.  She married Eldon Wayne Harvey on November 10, 1958, and he preceded her in death.  Sandra was also preceded in death by her father and mother, half-brother Leslie Smith and half-sister Ramona Bradfield.

She is survived by her daughters: Teresa (Rick) Parker, Lisa (John) Summers, and Brenda Rickard; grandchildren: Curtis (Joni) Parker, Melissa (Josh) Whaley, Tiffany (Dan) Underwood, Tyler (Blake) Summers, Andrew Rickard and Troy Rickard; and seven great-grandchildren.

Sandra loved her Lord and Savior with all her heart.  She loved God's word and going to church.  She left a legacy to her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and all who knew her of God's amazing love and grace.  She dedicated many years caring for the sick and the elderly as a nursing assistant.  She was selfless and caring.  She touched the lives of all those who knew her.

Funeral services for Sandra will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, October 21, 2024, at O.D. Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, Indiana, Pastor Denny Wiscaver officiating, with burial to follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Campbelltown, Indiana.  Visitation will be from 11:00am until service time at the funeral home.
