Sandra "Sandy" Kaye Brittain, 80, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2023, at her home in Otwell, Indiana.

Sandy was born on June 27, 1943 to Cecil and Helen (Abbott) Bement in Pike County, Indiana.  She married Merlin L. Brittain on September 1, 1962.

She is survived by children Grant Brittain, Nichole Wininger & Mark Brittain, all of Otwell, grandchildren Hannah, Dylon & Colton, great grandchildren Addelynn & Ava, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Merlin, son Robert "Rob" Brittain, siblings John & Don Bement, Sr., Martha Lou Shimer & Priscilla Johnson, and a brother in infancy.

Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Monday, October 23, 2023, at O.D. Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, Indiana, with burial to follow at Otwell Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00am until service time at the funeral home.
