Ruth Weathers, 91, passed away at Amber Manor on May 18, 2019. She was born on March 29, 1928 in Boonville, IN to Lewis and Emma McDaniel. She worked as a secretary at the Pike Co. Landfill and was a member of the St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.

Ruth is survived by her sons, Terry, Kenny, and Danny Strobel; dauthters, Shirley Schum and Rose Mitchell; step sons, Terry Lee, Donnie, and Richard Weathers; step daughter, Debbie Russell; grandchildren, Amy Vanmeter, Amber Strobel, Travis McCandless and Dusty McCandless; 10 great grandchildren; and a brother, Charlie Gunn. She is preceded in death by her husband, Don Weathers; first husband, Sylvester Strobel; her parents; and grandchildren, Brad and Peggy Strobel.

Services for Ruth will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, May 23, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg. Visitation will be held from 2-8 PM on Wednesday, May 22, at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Vincent Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
