Ronald D. Like of Petersburg, Indiana, 84, passed away on October 15, 2020. He was born to Boyd and Betty Like on May 17, 1936 in Monroe City. Ron worked for Amax Coal, owned Like Equipment in the early 80's, worked for McCormick Trucking in Vincennes, and later worked at Commercial Truck Sales in Huntingburg. He was a Marine veteran and served on the Pike County School Board and Prides Creek Conservancy District. He was a graduate of Monroe City High School and a member of the Gospel Center Church in Petersburg. Ron enjoyed hunting, fishing, flying airplanes, and visiting friends.

Surviving are his wife, Sue McCrary Like; two sons, Todd (Alice) and Darin (Julie) Like, all of Petersburg; four grandchildren, Garrett, Heath, Ethan and Alex Like; two step-sons, Jason (Laura) and Jordan (Brittany) Sturgeon; six step-grandkids, Ace, Tucker, Ava, Aubrey, Paxton and Raylan of Wheatland; extended family, Kay Friedmann, Nancy Gines, Dr. Jerry Like (deceased), Butch Like (deceased), Steve Like, and Dr. Tom Thompson.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30pm on Monday, October 19, 2020 at Wilson Creek Cemetery in Monroe City, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ron's memory to Wilson Creek Cemetery, 6396 South Summitt Road, Monroe City, IN 47557
