Roger Wayne Fowler, 82, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Amber Manor Nursing Home.

Roger was born in Petersburg Indiana, on January 3, 1943 to Gurnie & Ilia I. (Ingersol) Fowler.

Roger was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed building yard barns. He built over 300 of them. He loved being around his family, friends, and enjoyed all sports. He had a big heart for the homeless, unwanted, and abused. He also loved cats and dogs. He took in over 100 animals in his life time and gave them a good home.

Roger is preceded in death by his parents, Gurnie and Ilia Fowler; daughter, Tracy Lynn Fowler; and sister, Cheryl Lynn Taylor.

Roger is survived by his life long partner Pamala J. Brewster of Petersburg IN; Brothers, Nelson and Ludie Fowler of Pensacola Florida, Greg Fowler of Petersburg IN; and sister, Karen (Bob) Medaris of Petersburg IN; 3 grandchildren, Chelsea, Tia, and Chase; and 5 great grandchildren.
