Roger E. Flint, 75, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2022, at Daviess Community Hospital.

He was born to Lowell and Jewel (Matteson) Flint on October 30, 1946, in Algiers, Indiana.

Roger served in the U.S. Army.  He owned and operated M&R Transport, and also drove trucks for Tommy Boyd and Fred Fyffe.  He really loved mowing.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Mary, on June 16, 2022.

Roger is survived by daughters Mindy Nicholson and Jodi Hinkle; son David Hunt; brother Brian Flint; sister Martha Flint Perry; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 2022, at O.D. Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, Indiana, with burial to follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
