Robie Joe Carter, 85, passed away September 18, 2019 in Huntingburg, IN. He was born in Pike County on February 11, 1934 to Raymond Earl and Anna Mae Carter. He spent the majority of his life in the woodworking profession.

Robie is survived by his children, Rick (Linda) Carter, Richard (Rosie) Carter, Robie Joe (Cindy) Carter Jr., Janet Lynn (Don) Padgett, and Robin (Tony) Fellers; several grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; and his brother, Jerry Carter. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dana Carter; sister, Mary Ann Kennedy; and his parents.

Services for Robie will be held at 10 AM EST on Monday, Sept. 23, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN. Visitation will take place from 5-8 PM EST on Sunday, Sept. 22, at the funeral home. Pastor Sonny Flock will officiate and burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery in Velpen. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
