Rick Cannon, 67, of Petersburg, IN passed away May 27, 2024 at Amber Manor Care Center in Petersburg. He was born November 3, 1956 to Randall and Ada (Taylor) Cannon in Washington, IN. He graduated from Pike Central High School Class of 1975. After high school Rick worked for his father at Cannon Trucking as a tire repair man. Later he worked at Purdue Farms and then on to Jasper Furniture. His last job was at the Pike County Rehabilitation Center in Petersburg. He was a man of deep faith. His hobbies consisted of spending time with family, coaching wrestling, learning about the Lord, and teaching bible studies.

Rick is survived by his sons, Eric (Darian Wilson) Cannon, Jeff (Jessika Hancock) Cannon, and Tyler (Laura Leighty) Cannon; a daughter, Amber (Paul) Russell; 3 granddaughters and 9 grandsons; brothers, Darvin (Sharon) Cannon, Grant Cannon, and Ed (Jacquie) Cannon; his ex-wife and friend, Karen Cannon; and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Bill Cannon.

Services for Rick will take place at 4:30 PM EST on Thursday, May 30, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with visitation from 2:30 PM until service time. Pastor Denny Wiscaver will be officiating and burial will follow at Hamline Chapel Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
