Phyllis Ann Foster, 72, passed away at her residence on April 10, 2019. She was born November 19, 1946 to Ernest and Dorothy (Wooten) Haynes in New Albany, IN.

She enjoyed gardening, flowers, and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also attended the Petersburg Free Methodist Church.

Phyllis is survived by her husband of 57 years, Theodore 'Ted' Foster; son, David (Winnie) Foster; grandchildren, Abbigayle Foster, Jacob Foster, Sam Theising, and Isaac Theising; brother, William Haynes; and sister, Peggy Ann Sutton. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Woodrow Haynes; sisters, Mary Beaven and Betty Thomas.

Services for Phyllis will be held at 1 PM EST on Saturday, April 13, at the Free Methodist Church in Petersburg, IN. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM on Friday, April 12, at the church and 11 AM until service time on Saturday. Burial will follow at Ashby Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations by made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and can be made at Stjude.org. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
