Paul M. Wilhite, 79, was a caring husband, father, granddaddy, and friend who passed away on December 6, 2021 in his hometown of Petersburg, Indiana.

Paul was born to Richard and Bernice Wilhite on June 4, 1942 and spent his entire life in Pike County.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary, his daughter Jamie Chapman, and his granddaughter Taelyn Quin Chapman.

He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters Bonnie and Faye, his brother Jack, and his son Bradley Paul.

He graduated from Petersburg High School and worked at Indianapolis Power & Light.

Paul was an avid gardener and a lifelong member of the Petersburg Moose Lodge #1617.

Graveside funeral services will be at 11am on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Paul's memory to the Petersburg Paws Animal Shelter.
