Early in the morning on September 13, Patricia "Patty" Tredway, 83, of Petersburg went to be with the Lord.

Patty was born to Paul and Catherine Wiseman in 1935.  On Christmas Eve in 1955, she married Hilbert Julian Tredway and together they raised 3 children, Bradley, Julie, and Sherri.  Patty found her passion in working with individuals with disabilities during the last years of having a career…She loved helping others.

Patty enjoyed spending time with her family and especially loved visits with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She also enjoyed playing Scrabble, doing crossword and word search puzzles, and listening to music.  She especially loved gospel songs and singing along.  Before moving into Amber Manor, Patty loved attending church at the Contenders of Faith Mission in Otwell.

Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Hilbert, her brothers, Harold and Gary Wiseman, and her sister, Jennifer Mosby.   She is survived by her three children, Bradley (Sherri), Julie Shepard, and Sherri Dorsey (Barry); her brothers, Paul Wiseman of St. Petersburg, FL and Phillip Wiseman of Oakland City; her sisters Marilyn Kinder of Petersburg and Charlene Wood of Melbourne, FL.  She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, Ashleigh Arnold and Alex Tredway, Jeremy, Caleb, and Kelsey Dorsey, and Spencer, Katie, and Jace Shepard, as well as 7 great grandchildren.  She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.

As Patty wished, the family will have a private graveside service at McClure Cemetery in Algiers at a later date.
