Patricia White-Leslie, 90, of Petersburg, passed away December 16, 2025. She was born May 24, 1935 to Theodore and Ruth White. Patty enjoyed spending time with her late husband, Alvin, by traveling and going to races. She was an avid shopper for all things, especially Alfred Dunner and purses. She enjoyed painting and loved animals dearly. She was the proud co-owner of Maxwell and Skittles who never left her side.
In the last year, she moved in with Peach to be cared for and live out her last days exactly as she always wished. She had a special care giver, Ellen Ricketts that came to care for her each day. She and Peach were blessed to have the help of a special family, the Armstrongs, who helped them do anything and everything they needed. The bond and friendship that Patty offered to those around her is a cherished gift. She was a phenomenal storyteller and had the gift to make anyone laugh
Gentiva Hospice cared for Patty in her final year of life with their special chaplain, Barry Groh visiting often and praying with her. Patty was a faithful member of Glezen Revival Center.
Patty is survived by her step daughters, Cynthia Fair and Penny Marshall and her best friend, Becky Gregory. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Alvin Leslie.
A graveside service for Patty will take place at 10 AM EST on Saturday, December 20, at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg, IN. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
