Patricia J. Thomas, age 100, of Petersburg, Indiana, went home to be with our Lord Jesus Christ on September 21, 2025. She was born on December 5, 1924, in Indianapolis, Indiana, to James and Sophia Harbin.

Pat lived a full and beautiful life. She spent many years as a beautician, sharing her gift of care and conversation with others. She was a devoted member of Brenton Chapel Church of Christ and loved giving her time as a volunteer at Vincennes Good Samaritan Hospital. Some of her happiest days were spent sharing dinners and playing card games full of laughter with her best friends, Thelma and Phoebe. Above all, her greatest joy was her family; especially her grandchildren, who brought endless light to her life.

Pat is lovingly remembered by her children, Carol Eugene Jr. (Martha) and Beverly Ann Brown-Sims; her grandchildren, Chris Thomas-Bartley (Marc Howlett), Michael Thomas (Karla), Lorie Bancroft (Don), Cherish Slifer (Matt), Kris Snyder (Randi), Gene Bowens (Melissa), Lisa Jochum (Mike), Natalie Bement, Toni Lundy (Ed), Rick Cates (Val), Troy Cates, and Chad Cates (Stephanie); along with 24 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews who adored her.

She is now joyfully reunited in Heaven with her parents; her 3 sisters and 3 brothers; her beloved husband, Carol Eugene "Jeep" Thomas, Sr.; sons-in-law, Dan Brown and Charlie Sims; daughter-in-law, Barbara Thomas; and her great-grandson, Jadan Taylor Manion.

Her legacy of love, kindness, and faith will live on in all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at O.D. Harris Funeral Home, 705 East Walnut Street, Petersburg, IN 47567, on Saturday, September 27, 2025, from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. ET, with services to follow at 2:00 p.m. ET

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Brenton Chapel Church of Christ in Petersburg.
