Pansy Louise Smith, 96, formerly of Petersburg, passed away December 14, 2023 in Vincennes, IN. She was born October 26, 1927 to Riley and Emma (Harbison) Fowler in Petersburg, IN. She preached at the "Little Church in Berkley Heights", also known as Hunky Town. She proudly owned and ran Pansy's Café on Main Street Petersburg.

Pansy is survived by her children, Lisa (Stan) Brewster, Michelle (Vince) Fiscus, and Sonya (Ryan) Embrey; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Norma June Stafford and Diana Sue Jones; and several nieces and nephews.

Pansy is preceded in death by her husband, Virgil Smith; her parents; brothers, Gurnie Fowler, Jess Fowler, Ted Fowler, Troy Fowler, Buck Fowler, and Riley Fowler Jr.; and sisters, Virginia Steiger, Christina Harvey, Imogene Baker, and Mary Kortea.

Services for Pansy will take place at 2 PM EST on Monday, December 18, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with visitation from 12 PM until service time. Pastor Mark Davis will be officiating and burial will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
