Ollie Doublemont, 71, of Petersburg, passed away August 26 at his residence. He was born August 21, 1952 to Dan and Mildred (Doyle) Doublemont in Richmond, IN. Ollie was a faithful member of the Petersburg Free Methodist Church. He was a proud coal miner and loved fishing and gardening.

Ollie is survived by his wife of 39 years, Sandra Sue Doublemont; nephew, Dr. Jay (Kevin Axsom) Dickerson; niece, Angela (Scott) Chandler; great nephews, Tyler Chandler and Parker Chandler; and a cousin, Scott Dudley. He is preceded in death by his parents.

Services for Ollie will take place at 2 PM EST on Friday, September 1, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with visitation from 4 PM to 8 PM on Thursday, August 31, and 1 PM until service time on Friday. Burial will follow the service at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg.
