Norma Jean Thomas, 93, passed away Sunday, March 22, 2020 at Emerald Place in Washington, IN.  She was born October 30, 1926 in Pike County to Roger and Avanell (Welton) Smith. Norma worked as a bank teller at Pike County Bank for 20 years.  She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Petersburg and a 50+ year member of the Order of the Eastern Star.  She previously owned and operated Thomas Cleaners in Petersburg with her husband of 65 years, Bill Thomas, who preceded her in death on August 15, 2011.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Brad O'Neill of Petersburg.

A private burial will be held at a later date.
