Nancy Pearl Cummings, 69, of Petersburg, passed away on February 8 at the Timbers of Jasper. She was born June 26, 1949 in Daviess County to Arthur and Gladys (Swain) Gideon.

She is survived by her husband, Jason Thomas of Petersburg; son, JD Cummings of Petersburg; daughter, Josie Sturgeon of Jasper; and 6 grandchildren.

The services for Nancy will be held at 2 PM EST on Tuesday, Feb. 12, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM EST on Monday, Feb. 11, at the funeral home. Pastor Eddie Willis will officiate and burial will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg. Donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
