Mick L. Kinman, 85, of Petersburg, passed away December 29, 2024 in Newburgh, IN. He was born August 26, 1939 to Hulett M. and Alice Marguerite (Webb) Kinman in Hosmer, IN. Mick graduated from Winslow High School Class of 1957 and was known for playing basketball for Winslow. He went on to enlist in the United States Army from 1960 to 1963 and served in Korea as a Radio Operator. Mick worked for Indianapolis Power and Light for many years and retired as a Maintenance Supervisor in 1994. As an avid bird and deer hunter and fisherman, Mick put a lot of miles on his Kubota side by side.  He was a Charter Member of the Pike County Bird Hunters Club and a member of the Glezen General Baptist Church.

Mick is survived by his son, Brian Kinman of Winslow; his daughter, whom he cared for at his home for almost 60 years, Gina M. Kinman of Petersburg; grandchildren, Buddy Kinman of Methuen, MA and Cassie (Cody) Fair of Mt. Vernon, IN; great grandchildren, Brian and Jacob Kinman; brothers, Chris (Kathleen) Kinman and John (Jean) Kinman; sister, Gale (Ed) Wick; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Kinman; his parents; brothers, Terry Kinman and David Kinman; and his sister, Shari (Vance) Hays.

Visitation for Mick will take place from 11 AM to 1 PM EST on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with a graveside service following at 1:30 PM EST at Willis Cemetery in Petersburg, IN. Pastor Eddie Willis will be officiating. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
