Mary Jane Ingersoll, 88, passed away on October 20 at Amber Manor where she was given wonderful care for over 8 years by many loving and care giving nurses, aides, and activity workers. She was born April 17, 1930 to Homer and Nora Leighty in Petersburg, IN. She was a member of the Petersburg Nazarene Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Ingersoll; daughter, Marty Chappell; siblings, Doin, George, and John Leighty and Barbara Joan Swain.

Mary Jane is survived by her grandsons, JC (Carolyn) Chappell of Monrovia, IN; Randy Chappell and friend, Denise Sharp of TX; great grandson, Justin and Tyler Chappell; siblings, Elzena (Bob) Strain, Thomas (Susie) Leighty, and Paul David (Brenda) Leighty.

Services will be held on 2 PM on Friday, Oct. 26, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with visitation from 11 AM until service. Burial will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg. The family would like to thank Amber Manor and Asera Care Hospice for all the loving attention. She loved you all!
