Martha Ann Perkins Byrd 87 of Petersburg passed on February 24, 2018 at her daughters residence. She was born September 27, 1930 to Aaron & Ora Martin. She worked as a Registered Nurse at Good Samartian Home & Wirth Hospital in Oakland City, She also worked as organist for 20 plus years at Harris Funeral Home. Preceeding her in death was her parents 1st Husband Charles Perkins in 1983, 2nd Husband Oscar Byrd in 2008, three sisters Mildred, Imogene, Mary Katherine. Survivors Son Charles M. (Judy) Perkins, Daughter Peg (Scott-Deceased) Willis. Grandchildren Bradley J. Willis MD MPH, Clifton (Renee) Willis, Heather M. Perkins, Christopher Perkins. Great Grandchildren Conner, Caden, Elizabeth Willis. She was a member of Main Street Presbertian Church in Petersburg, she taught music over 25 years, piano, music, voice lessons. Services will be Wednesday 10:00 AM EST at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, In. Rev. Boyd Heldrin & John Burns will officiate. Visitation Tuesday 3-8 PM EST.
