Marquette K. Cook

Marquette K. Cook, 69, of Winslow, passed away November 5, 2026 at Heart to Heart Hospice in Evansville. She was born November 25, 1956 to Arthur and Vada (Quick) Culver in Indianapolis, IN. Marquette graduated from Oakland City University with a Bachelors in Business and worked as a CNA throughout her life. She loved to read in her spare time and always worked hard to support her family.

Marquette is survived by her daughter, Jacqueline (Ryan) Floyd; son, Daren (Laura) Cook; grandson, James Floyd; and sisters, Cathy Small, Mary Bartley, and Carol Duzan.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Services for Marquette will take place at 1 PM EST on Tuesday, November 10, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with visitation from 11 AM EST until service time. Burial will follow at Montgomery Cemetery in Oakland City, IN. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
