Marlys Hope Howe, 82, formerly of Manistee, MI, passed away October 18, 2025 in Jasper, IN. She was born August 7, 1943 to Henry and Doris (Frederiksen) Biedermann in Manistee, MI. She graduated from Manistee High School Class of 1961. She enjoyed camping, reading, and traveling.

Marlys is survived by her sons, Erik (Lori) Bjorkquist and Jason (Sheila) Bjorkquist; daughters, Shari (Kipp) Church and Darci Scott; 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; her sister, Carol Biedermann; and her companion, Onis Anthony Roeder.

Marlys is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 34 years, Leonard Dale Howe; siblings, Donna Shafer and brother, Kenneth Biedermann.

In accordance with Marlys's wishes she will be cremated and there are no services scheduled at this time. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
