Margaret Ropp, 84, of Petersburg, passed away on November 29 at her residence. She was born March 12, 1934 in Gibson County to Robert and Agnes Whitehouse. She worked for many years as a meat cutter at Emge Packing Plant in Ft. Branch.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Susan (William) Zenthofer of Petersburg; grandson, David Zenthofer; brother, Frank (Carolyn) Whitehouse; sister in law, Thelma Whitehouse; 2 nephews, 1 niece, their spouses, and 6 great nieces. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Gus Ropp; her parents; and brother, Oscar Whitehouse.

Services for Margaret will be held at 2 PM EST on Monday, Dec. 3rd, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until service. Pastor Mike Ferguson will be officiating and burial will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
