Luther Leonard Selby, 91, of Petersburg passed away April 21, 2024 in Petersburg, IN. He was born December 21, 1932 to Emmit and Flora (Harker) Selby in Pike County. Luther graduated from Hazelton High School Class of 1951 and went on to serve in the United States Army. He owned and operated Selby's Pool Hall on Main Street Petersburg for many years. He was a lifetime member of the Petersburg VFW Post #3587.

Luther is survived by his son, Greg Selby of Haubstadt, IN; daughter, Vicky Peek of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Logan (Kim) Selby and Morgan (Patrick) Boadway; great grandchildren, Wakeston Selby, Redding Selby, and Elliott Rose Boadway; and a brother, Pat (Fay) Selby of Cambelltown, IN.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Selby; and a sister, Mary Lois Carnahan.

Services for Luther will take place at 12 PM EST on Thursday, April 25, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN with visitation from 11 AM until service time. Pastor Ron Ficklin will be officiating and burial will follow at Williams Cemetery in Bowman, IN. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
