Leslie Jochim Elmore, 69, of Petersburg IN, passed away January 27 th 2023 in her home. She was born August 18 1953, to Thomas and Luella (Lamb) Jochim in Vincennes IN. She graduated from Petersburg High School in 1971. She married her first husband Jeff Faulk (deceased), then went to marry her husband of 32 years, Ross Elmore. She worked at Mid-West Telephone Company for several years. Then she went on to find her talent and love for floral design at the Ole Flower Shoppe, Sues Flowers, and the Potting Shed where she retired after their closing. She dedicated many years to supporting the volunteers of the Petersburg Volunteer Fire Dept. She was a dedicated volunteer in the community for many years. Leslie is survived by her husband Ross, son Joe (Melody) Faulk and a daughter Carly (Evan) Tegmeyer, and 5 grandchildren Trace Faulk, Cassidy Brothers, Addison Faulk, Laryn Faulk, and Riley Tegmeyer, also by 2 brothers Gary (Jodi) Jochim, David (Rhonda) Jochim. A sister Sharon Elkins. She is proceeded in death by both her parents. Visitation for Leslie will be 10:00am to 2:00pm Tuesday January 31 st at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg IN, with graveside service to follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery at 2:30pm In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Pike County Public Library or the National Kidney Foundation.
