Leon "Tommy" Thomas Smith, 51, of Petersburg, passed away March 24, 2022 in Winslow, IN. He was born April 17, 1970 in Gary, IN to Leon and Sandra (Sipes) Smith. Tommy was a heavy equipment operator at the Solar Sources Coal Mine for many years. He loved spending time with his kids, grandkids, and friends. His hobbies included being outside, mowing, working on vehicles in the garage, and helping others in need. Tommy was a proud and avid supporter of Donald Trump.

Tommy is survived by his wife, Angie Hasenour-Smith; son, Caleb Hasenour; daughters, Korie (Johnny) Long, Samantha (Craig) Huddlestun, Tristan Smith, Taylor Searl, and Gabrielle Hasenour; mother, Sandra Smith; brothers, Richard (Sherry) Myers and Jerry Myers; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Leon H. Smith.
