Larry Whitehead, 72, of Petersburg passed away August 8, 2019 in Newburgh, IN. He was born Sept. 7, 1946 in Washington, IN to Oral Richard and Lorrayne Whitehead. Larry worked as a truck driver and was employed by CSX Railway for 47 years.

Larry is survived by his wife, Paula Whitehead; sons, Ricky Whitehead, Ryan Whitehead, Roger Whitehead, Clinton Whitehead, Barry Whitehead, and Patrick Wood; 21 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren; mother, Lorrayne Perry; brother, Denny (Phyllis) Whitehead; and sisters, Oraletta Earles and Marcia Gideon.

He is preceded in death by his father, Oral Richard Whitehead.

Services for Larry will take place at 10:30 AM EST on Thursday, Aug. 15, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, IN. Visitation will be from 4-8 PM EST on  Wednesday, Aug. 14, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Patoka, IN. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
