Larry Stephen Hadley, 79, went to be with Jesus on Friday, April 22, 2022.

He was born on December 5, 1942, to Kenneth Hadley and Syble (Wilkes) Hadley, in Linton.

He retired from IP&L in 2001 after 34 years and has a parking lot named in his honor. He was an Army Veteran. He was a member of Glezen Revival Center in Petersburg. He was well known for his sense of humor, love of his family, love of sports including IU basketball and Colts football.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Vinnie (Owens) Hadley; three sons, Brad (Jo) Hadley, of Petersburg, Michael (Amanda) Hadley, of Velpen, and Stephen Hadley, of Petersburg; nine grand-children; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister, Marsha Hadley Cedarquist, of Indianapolis.

His parents and one brother, Ronnie Hadley preceded him in death.

A celebration of life is planned for 3:30 PM EST on Sunday, May 1, 2022, at Glezen Revival Center. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
