Kora K. Garretson, 79, of Petersburg, IN, passed away on October 26, 2021 in Zion, IL.

She was born June 6, 1942 to Owen and Catherine (Fowler) Gaines, and married Thomas Lee Garretson, all of whom preceded her in death.

She retired from Kimball in Jasper, IN. In her spare time she enjoyed traveling to various places in the United States and abroad. She also loved spending time with her family and friends. She always had a positive attitude and strong faith. She shared this with everyone she met.

She is survived by son Keith Garretson, daughter Katrina Garretson, step-daughter Sandra (John) Tichenor, brother Larry (Carolyn) Gaines, 2 step-grandchildren, Annie (Andrew) Dunkel and Jason Tichenor and 3 step-great-grandchildren, Jeter, Albany, and Vera Simmons.

Graveside services will be held at 1:30pm on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg, IN, with Rev. Gary Arnold officiating.  Visitation will be from 11:00am until 1:00pm at O.D. Harris Funeral Home.
