Kent Douglas Stafford October 5, 1962 - May 17, 2018 Kent Stafford 55 Huntingburg (formally of Petersburg) passed away suddenly May 17, 2018 at Memorial Hospital in Jasper Indiana. He was born October 5, 1962 in Washington Indiana to Aaron and Elsie (Emmons) Stafford. He married Tracey Lough July 1, 1983. He was a 1980 graduate of Pike Central High School. Kent was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a member of the American Legion Post 0147 Kent enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and watching and listening to Fox news. Surviving are his wife Tracey; one son Ronald (Megan) of Washington; two daughters, Jennifer Potts of Ferdinand; Nikki Stafford and fiancée Molly Sanders of Ferdinand. He was a proud Poppy of three grandchildren Zayda, Isaiah and Carson. Two brothers Duane Stafford, Marty (Joella) Stafford of Petersburg, one sister Lynna (Jim) Woolsey of Petersburg. Kent was preceded in death by his parents Aaron Stafford, Elsie Austin and one sister Beth. There will be a celebration of Life on Tuesday May 22 at the Petersburg VFW from 3:00 to 6:00 with military honors at 4:00.
