Keith O. Willis, 83, of Petersburg, passed away September 18, 2026 at Amber Manor Care Center in Petersburg. Keith was born October 19, 1942 to Arthur and Avis (Sims) Willis. He married Lois (Hatt) they spent many happy years together. He also worked as a miner at Old Ben for 37 years. He had many hobbies including: camping, traveling, fishing, gardening, and was known for being a “piddler” where he liked to fix broken things.

Keith is survived by his wife, Lois; his sons, Doyle (Delama) Willis, Matt (Kara) Willis; daughters, Debra (Brian) Shoemaker, Candy Scott, Amanda (Vaughn) Woods; brother, Gary (Kay) Willis; and grandchildren, Logan, Noah, Peyton, Andrew, and Lindsey.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Services for Keith will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026 at Brenton Chapel in Petersburg, IN beginning at 1 PM. EST. Visitation will be from 10 AM EST until service time. Burial will be at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Petersburg, IN following service. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
