Kathy Lou Adkins, 71, passed away peacefully at her home in Petersburg, Indiana on June 16, 2022. Kathy was born September 29, 1950, in Huntington, West Virginia to Pete and Peggy (Ray) Roberson. Kathie married Howard "Doc" Adkins on February 16, 1970. She worked as a licensed registered nurse for many years. Kathie was preceded in death by her parents. Kathie is survived by her husband, Howard "Doc" Adkins of Petersburg, Indiana; her sons, Pete Adkins of Milwaukee, Wisconsin & Shawn Adkins of Teays Valley, West Virginia; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. A Celebration of Life for Kathie will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2022, from Noon until 4:00PM at her residence in Petersburg. The address is 103 Center Street, Petersburg, Indiana, 47567.
