Julie Dawn Benton, 50, passed away Sept. 29, 2017 at her residence in Monroe City, IN. She was born March 4, 1967 in Washington, IN to Dale and Ruby (Hill) McCrary. She married her husband Kevin Benton in August 9, 1986. She worked as a secretary at many different places including Good Samaritan Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin Benton; son, Brandon Benton; parents, Dale and Ruby McCrary; grandchildren, Braxton Benton and Hannah Ivers; sisters, Marla Raley, Mindy Wright, and Lori Deffendoll and their families.
Services will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, Oct. 3, at the Apostolic Lighthouse Church in Monroe City, IN with visitation 10 AM until service time. Burial will follow at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Julie Benton Memorial Fund. Checks may be made payable to Kevin Benton.
